 Pierre Gasly became the first Formula 1™ driver to create his NFTs and it was a great success. 

All 350 copies of the fixed-price NFT were sold out within 15 minutes of the auction opening. The other 3 NFTs, themselves up for auction, and which were exchangeable for a helmet worn in the race, VIP experiences, meetings with Pierre sparked a bidding battle in the final minutes of Saturday's event.

Pierre has been working closely with Fantom over the last few months to release his own NFTs last week on Artion. Fantom, which runs on a Blockchain network with low energy consumption compared to its competitors, allowing its users ecological peace of mind.

This NFTs 'drop' was a first introduction from Pierre Gasly and Formula 1 ™ to the Crypto community and it was welcomed with open arms. A whole new audience was engaged with the sport and to Pierre, and vice versa when we saw Pierre Gasly fans interacting with crypto and NFTs for the first time. The partnership was also picked up by several major US financial media outlets, once again highlighting Pierre's commitment to decentralised finance (DeFi) and cryptocurrency technologies. 

Pierre has also indicated that there is much more to come from this partnership with Fantom and looks forward to the development of future projects already in the pipeline.
